Description

Last moon shot for now. This is Theophilus crater on the northwest edge of Mare Nectaris. It is 100km in diameter and 3.2km deep.

This monochrome image was taken with an Astronomik ProPlanet 742 IR-Pass filter on October 6, 2020.

Description: I did not plan a mosaic, but many of my last moon photos were of the same region, so I used Photoshop to stitch them together. Taking a page from the planet photographers' book, I placed a mirror image along side as well.
